FAQ's

Do you cater for allergies and intolerances?

Nuts Allergies

The chocolate I use is made in a nut free environment, however from time to time some of the toppings may be labelled with may contain traces. Please make me aware at time of booking of any concerns.

Dairy

Unfortunately I can't cater to dairy free on an individual basis but if there is demand I can run a dairy free workshop so please get in touch.

Gluten

All of the chocolate used in workshops is gluten free. Occasionally some of the toppings we decorate with contain so please contact me before booking to discuss the workshop and if it is or can be made gluten free.

Getting to the Chocolate Snug

The chocolate snug is based in Waterlooville, Hampshire in my Garden. I am on google maps, please search for 'The Crafty Chocolatier'. Full directions are here

Driving?

Please feel free to park on my driveway, there is room for everyone. Kerbside parking is also available outside.

Cycling?

You are more than welcome to leave your bike in my garden during the workshop.

Public Transport?

The number 8 bus stops a few minutes walk away from the snug. Nearest train stations are Rowlands Castle and Havant.

Children's Workshops

Is there an age range for the half term activities

There is no set age range for the workshops. I had had children as young as 2 and all the way up to 16 come along! I'm here to help as much or as little as needed.

Can I bring my child's younger sibling with me?

Babies are welcome to come along but as we are tight on space I cannot accommodate for children not booked into the workshop.

Can my children share a space?

Unfortunately not, I do not have enough room for multiple children to share a box so please book them in individually.

Can I bring another adult with me to watch the workshop

As we are tight on space I politely ask that it is 1 adult per child please

Other questions

Are there any facilities?

I have a dedicated toilet for the chocolate snug that you can use during workshops.

Can I wear my hair down?

I politely ask that all long hair is tied back for the workshops to help us keep everything clean.

How do I keep my chocolates once I'm home?

Your chocolates should be stored somewhere cool and dry once they go home with you.
